BACKER PLATE: Expansion range is from 1" to 14". Drill your hole straight into the substrate so the bolt can slide freely all the way through the substrate. Nut must be fully threaded on bolt to insure maximum strength ratings and integrity of anchor.

DRILLING FOR STEEL: Drill the hole 5/8" diameter. The hole must be 3" from an edge or corner. Do not use Mega Swivel in steel thinner than 1/4". Be aware of your alignment of the lanyard or connectors, make sure they do not run over the edge of the steel

DRILLING FOR CONCRETE: Drill the hole 3/4" in diameter & 4 1/2" deep. Blow hole clean with compressed air. Drill hole straight into substrate. Only use an industrial SDS hammer drill & drill bit. The concrete substrate must be at the minimum of 5" thick.
